Industry's development is inseparable from social capital injection. In order to attract a number of high-quality social capitals to jointly promote the development of creative industries in Shanghai, recently, under the guidance of the Creative City Office and City Economic Information Committee， Shanghai creative industry display and service platform center together with 8 institutions namely Shanghai Guosheng Group Investment Co., Ltd., Sequoia (China) Investment Fund, Haitong Innovation Capital Management Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yinjia Venture Capital Management Co., Ltd., Shanghai Dobe Cultural and Creative Industry Development Co., Ltd., Shanghai Blue Point Investment Co., Ltd., Infinity (Shanghai) Business Investment Management Co., Ltd., CN Stone Investment Advisory (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., establishes the Shanghai Creative (design) industrial investment fund alliance with alliance management fund of 26.9 billion RMB (including RMB 9.35 billion, USD 2.7 billion), and it will focus on the creative (design) industry investment and offer support.
At the meeting, eight institutional investors signed the "Shanghai Creative Industry Investment Fund Alliance Charter (test run)." It is reported that Shanghai Alliance for the creative (design) industry investment and financing system for the establishment, operation and development of decision support mechanisms and project docking mechanism, in the social capital of Shanghai's creative (design) industry investment and financing. Establishment of the alliance is based on market-oriented form and manner as the creative industries to solve the financing needs of SMEs, to build a platform for creative industries, investment and financing.
It is reported that the League socio-professional organizations of the Joint Secretariat set up a "fund services center", to build bridges for the Union of the investment fund and SMEs of the creative industries, explore a specialized investment and financing mode of service, guide enterprises to rationalize the financing needs, shorten the financing cycle, improve the success rate. Alliance in the future will attract banks, small loan companies and other financial institutions to participate in the creative (design) corporate finance services, providing one-stop financing solution.
